What does it mean when a webhost says you have unlimited domains under one account?

When I buy a domain and host service, say www.domainhelp.com, do I have to pay extra for the .ca, .org, version of the same domain? I would like to own the .com, .org, .ca version of my domain, as well as the .com and have them all link back to the same website. Thanks
Yes, you will have to pay extra for the .ca and .org, etc. Most hosting companies, like GoDaddy for instance, will offer you a deal for the other domains if you purchase the .com, but they’re not free.
Unlimited domains under one hosting account means that you are paying a monthly fee for a hosting account for your main domain, like www.myname.com. If you then buy another domain, like www.myname.info, you can have all the files for the .info pages held in a folder within the public folder of myname.com. Then, simply configure the .info domain to point to the .info folder and a start page. If you just want to have the .info domain show the same content as the .com domain, just configure your .info domain to point to the index.html page of your .com public folder.
