BlueHost Review by Clickfire

Posted on June 21st, 2010 by admin

BlueHost is one of the very few web hosting providers to receive a 5 out of 5 star rating at Clickfire.com. Several big name web hosting companies have been taken to the woodshed by our reviewers for poor customer support, unfair TOS or poor control panel UI (gotta love these guys and gals, not afraid to speak the truth because they are purposely independant) .

What are the main selling points of BlueHost?
Cheap $6.95 per month rate
“Unlimited” bandwidth and disk space
24/7 U.S. Phone Support (no overseas outsourcing)

Since doing the review, we’ve seen BlueHost go through various changes, some positive, some negative (of course this is debated in the text version of the review comments). After watching the BlueHost Genesis over the years, one thing becomes apparent: under the leadership of Utah entrepreneur Matt Heaton, BlueHost’s aggressive customer acquisition model has propelled this provider to great heights in the shared cPanel web hosting arena.

Read more about the pros and cons and everything in between that we discovered in our hands-on BlueHost web host review. We logged in to BlueHost and called customer support. We looked at the BlueHost terms of service. We tested their user interface. Last but not least, we rated this and many other shared web hosts.

Thanks for checking out Clickfire videos.

Here’s a copy of the video transcript of this review:
Hi I’m Dan Kenitz. You may remember me as a Clickfire contributor. But today,
forget all that because we’re reviewing BlueHost, that web hosting company of the $6.95 variety.By the way, if you want to follow along, check out the BlueHost Review already written at www.clickfire.com. Here’s the link… oops, wrong button. Check out http://www.clickfire.com/bluehost-review/ for more details after this video.

Upon visiting BlueHost.com we alread ready know that BlueHost is a hosting company that comes with all the standard features:

phone support
control panel
plenty of bandwidth for most sane endeavors
and reasonable pricing
There’s also a recently aded free site builder

A quick click of the sign up button gets us right to it. Before we start with anything else, what does the service cost? Funny you should ask that because I have a relevant link for you.

Over at Clickfire.com, we’ve already taken the liberty of laying it all out for you. Because the BlueHost package we found offers unlimited bandwidth and disk space the pricing structure will only break down by the amount of time you purchase it for:

3 months
6 months
12 months
24 months

Once you sign-up. like most hosting providers you’ll be put into the control panel or for you geniuses out there, cPanel. Bu all accounts, the panel works quickly and efficiently and won’t get in the way oof what you’re trying to do. Keep it simple, stupid.

Finally, for most people their choice in hosting service comes down to customer service. We at Clickfire gave this a bit of a test and found that it was very easy to talk to a human in a few minutes or less. When we did talk to them, we got the answer to our questions promptly. No problems there. Also, an email to customer service was returned with a response in just under an hour. Can’t beat that.

Overall, BlueHost is solid hosting provider even if it doesn’t have a lot of frills. The hard to find pricing does have a three month minimum on it. But, if you’re building a site for the long haul, that shouldn’t deter you. BlueHost has been reported to have a terms of service that gives them a lot of power. By the way, if the BlueHost review wasn’t enough for you, check out some of our other reviews at www.clickfire.com.

Best Web Hosting: BlueHost Review

Posted on April 28th, 2010 by admin

http://tinyurl.com/gobluehostweb {—Click Here to Check Out BlueHost today!

In this video, Im going to show you why BlueHost is going to make you LOVE web hosting, and why it makes having websites easy saving you time and money, and making it simple to have a massive presence on the web.

First of all, BlueHost offers unlimited hosting, allowing you to create rich, multimedia websites and you NEVER have to manage how much stuff you put on your site.

Now thats great, but alone its not a huge advantage. After all, you can get cheaper hosting that has a cap, but its a really huge amount of space that youll probably never fill with just website content. But thats where the second advantage comes into play.

Bluehost also lets you host unlimited domains on one hosting account, which that whether you build 3 sites, or 300 sites, hosting costs just $6.95 a month. That saves money and time because you dont have to manage or pay for multiple hosting accounts for every website you put up. Not to mention that the price structure is really simple compared to hosting accounts with limited domain names.
Along with that, you get one domain free forever (each additional domain is $10/year) so if you have a main website you dont have to worry about renewing your domain each year, and if you only have one site, you never have to worry about renewing it.
The last big advantage to BlueHost, is the 24/7, tech support, and Im talking about real, responsive tech support with a Live Chat option, you know, REAL tech support. so whenever something breaks, as it always does with technology, youre not going to stay on hold for hours and get some guy who cant speak English. You get real, helpful people right away.

There are a lot of other goodies that come with your BlueHost account, like unlimited file transfer, tons of email addresses and forwarders, free ecommerce cart, free yahoo and google ad credits, and more.

Web hosting reviews: BIG WEB HOSTING MISTAKE No.1

Posted on April 19th, 2010 by admin

Getting good web hosting deals is not obvious.
Web hosting AMA systems classifies you by your behavior and decides which deals and prices you’ll see on web hosting provider’s sites.
If you want to get best deals you must not let AMA system assume how you think and how much you are probably willing to pay. You should convince AMA that you are high a priority client, a client it has to attract. After you know how to make the needed impression you can “trick” AMA’s to give you its best deals. Tips, tricks and instructions can be found on my blog www.hosting-tricks.com.

Hosting Reviews – SCAMS EXPOSED

Posted on April 16th, 2010 by admin

Learn how host review & hosting comparison sites work. Hosting ratings are seldom ranked by web hosting features. Hosting reviews rate web hosting companies by the commissions they offer. Hosts that pay more get the BEST HOST rating.

The absolute worst offender, in my opinion, is WEBHOSTINGSTUFF.COM. Not only do they have their own “buy-your-way-to-the-top” TOP-10 list, they also accept customer reviews regarding other web hosting companies… NEGATIVE REVIEWS, that is.

Over the past months, I’ve watched how WebHostingStuff.com has systematically deleted POSITIVE reviews of specific web hosting companies and retained the NEGATIVE reviews.

Hosting reviews seldom base their “rating” on quality of service (although many claim to).

Instead, most of them rate a webhost based on the *size* of the affiliate commission. The web hosts paying the highest commissions usually get the top spots.

It’s a well-known fact: hosting companies that use Commission Junction to run their affiliate programs offer among the highest affiliate payouts in the hosting industry.

Thus “clever” PPC (pay per click) affiliate marketers decided: Why not create a hosting review site and list the highest paying companies at TOP and “recommend” them? Ka-ching!
