Web Hosting Stuffs

I’m trying to set up a forum with this particular program, but I really don’t want to buy a domain for something I might want to get rid of in a flash.

In other words what options do I have to host the forum for free?

I don’t really care about advertising banners, so uhhh, help?

The free webhost service I am using is http://www.000webhost.com/95407.html

They are completely free, and there aren’t any banner ads on your page.

They will either provide you with a free sub-domain you can use, OR they will host your own domain for free. I registered my own domain for free at www.register.com. They offer you a free domain for one year. Then I used http://www.000webhost.com/95407.html as my host, and they gave step by step instructions on redirecting my domain to their hosting services.

I am really pleased with my webhost. Everything that is included is amazing, and it is so easy to use!

You should check them out and see if they’ll work for what you are looking for.

   You can use a free forum provider such as invisionfree.com or forumer.com if you aren’t wedded to ikonboard.

   Alternatively, if your board runs on php/mysql, check out awardspace.com for free hosting.
